FantaSea Yacht Charters is conveniently located at the South Shore
Harbour Resort and Conference Center on Clear Lake. When possible,
guests take this opportunity to turn their mini-cruise event into

What
is our cruising route?
Our cruising route takes us from the panoramic views of South
Shore Harbour Resort into Clear Lake, where you can enjoy the
scenic waterscapes and beautiful homes along the way. After heading
under the Seabrook bridge, we then cruise slowly along the waterfront
of the ever popular Kemah Boardwalk. Most cruises allow a voyage
of several miles into Galveston Bay before we make our return
to South Shore Harbour.

Will
we get seasick?
Both the substantial length and breadth of our luxury yacht; as
well as, the protected the waterways on which we travel, provide
the premium conditions for a stable and pleasant cruise. Getting
seasick under these conditions is unlikely. On occasion, inclement
weather conditions dictate our route and if the waves on Galveston
Bay are choppy and uncomfortable, the Captain may elect to further
explore the sights on Clear Lake to ensure a delightful cruise
for everyone.

What
about inclement weather?
Rain or inclement weather in most cases does not present a problem.
Other than the aft lower deck, the upper promenade deck and the
bow perimeter -which are the perfect spots to venture out to when
the weather is suitable- our yacht is enclosed and climate controlled.

Are
the plasma TV screens available for client use?
YES! We encourage our guests to incorporate the TWO 42'' Plasma
Screens with their cruise. We have the capability to play DVD's
and show data from a PC using a "Picture CD" or a Power
Point presentation. The wedding couple may want to show family
photos throughout the reception. The flat screens are PERFECT
for guests to see the progression in photos of a budding romance
that led to ceremonial vows. They are also a great asset for proms,
reunions, anniversary and corporate events- bring your favorite
video games and have a ball! Your personal Cruise Consultant is
the avenue to gain all the details. Unlimited use of the plasma
screen is complimentary.

Is
it permitted to add to the décor of the vessel?
YES! Please discuss your ideas with your Cruise Consultant. Our
professional interior designer has tastefully appointed the vessel
with just the perfect amount of nautical flare. As this is YOUR
FantaSea Cruise, our ambition is to provide what you require.

How do we reserve the vessel for private
charters?
Reserving the vessel requires a 50% deposit. Deposits will be
applied to the balance of your cruise.

is final payment for private charters due?
Final payment for your event is required 14 days prior to departure.

the contract has been signed may I change the guest count?
YES! We realize that friends and relatives will be excited about
your upcoming event on a luxury yacht and would like to be included.

I use my personal choice of vendor? (Photographer, Florist, Entertainment)?
YES! This is your special occasion! Your Cruise Consultant will
assist with the specifics. However, we do have a list of hand
picked, detailed oriented and experienced vendors that are available
for your review.

What
is the difference between "boarding time" and "cruising
time?
"Boarding Time" is the earliest time guests may board
the ship. You are allowed to board any time after that up until
the "Cruising Time" at which point the vessel will set
sail. Boarding for most trips is 30 minutes prior to "Cruising
Time."

I
need to cancel my Dinner cruise, what can I do?
Although your purchase is final and non-refundable, with 48 hours
notice, we will be happy to reschedule your reservations to another
available date of your choosing up to a year from the date of
your original purchase. You will be assessed a 30% re-booking
fee and are responsible for any price difference if you happen
to choose a cruise with a different price.

Are
children allowed on dinner cruises?
Children are welcome on most of FantaSea's cruises. Child pricing
is set for each trip and child ages are between 3 and 12 years.
Children under 3 are free and children over 12 are at adult rates.

Can
I bring a birthday cake on board?
FantaSea welcome's guests to bring a small cake on board for their
group to enjoy. Please be sure to notify crew of any celebration
upon reservation as we may be able to offer you special services
for special occasions.

What
is the standard dress attire?
Dinner Cruises: Usually business casual or dressy casual attire.
For special occasions such as New Year's and Mother's Day guests
usually dress more formally; suit jackets and cocktail attire.

you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes! FantaSea Gift Certificates can be purchased by phone or in
our office. For information call (281) 538-9600. Gift Certificates
can be purchased for specific cruises or for dollar amounts.

What
size groups can FantaSea accommodate?
We accommodate groups from 2 to 149. Our fabulous Public Cruises
are a great venue for smaller groups like families and office
parties. For private events such as Holiday parties and weddings,
FantaSea can accommodate groups up to 149.

there restrooms on board?
Yes, there are full size lavatories on each level of the ship.

Is
there pre-assigned seating?
Depending upon capacity of individual trips, our crew will either
allow open "cruise ship" style seating or have an assigned
seating arrangement. "Cruise ship" style seating can
be described as such; tables ranging in size from 4 guests to
10 guests will accommodate parties of multiple sizes. Guests from
one party may be sat with guests from another party at one table.

Is
smoking allowed on the cruise?
Smoking is allowed on the outside open-air decks. Use of provided
ashtrays is mandatory to eliminate litter (which is punishable
by fine.) Don't Mess with Texas ~ We love our coastline!
